Pendry Washington DC – The Wharf

DesignAgency partnered with Pendry Hotels and Resorts to craft a creative direction that defines a new expression of luxurious hospitality at Pendry Washington DC – The Wharf. The design concept draws on the deep connections between Washington, D.C., and Paris. In the lobby, vintage-style desks, an original Louis XVI Carrera marble mantel and mixed-media neon art communicate the classic-meets-modern aesthetic. Guest rooms incorporate a vestibule that functions as a foyer, dressing room and bar. Beyond, a custom four-poster bed and curvaceous furniture amplify the cocooning effect of the dedicated sleeping chamber.

In addition to designing the 131 guest rooms and suites, DesignAgency realized the hotel’s vibrant public spaces and upscale amenities, including Bar Pendry – a lobby cocktail bar, Flora Flora – a resort-inspired restaurant, and Moonraker – a rooftop lounge with stunning views inside and out. A well-appointed pool terrace, spa, fitness centre, and event spaces complete the experience. DesignAgency also created branding for Flora Flora and Moonraker.
